This lovely hardwood console table comes from the Ankit range of handcrafted Indian furniture sourced by our buyer. Manufactured from sheesham wood (also known as Indian rosewood) it comes untreated and unlacquered due to the durable quality of the timber. This table would be perfect in any dining room to use as a stand alone unit for dishes and plates when dishing up. It has two very useful plain fronted drawers which can be used for cutlery and napkins. Another good use, especially in the open-plan style so many of us live in today, would be to stand the console table behind a sofa to form a visual block within the room. It also gives you an area to stand a lamp on.
