The mattress is composed of an inner layer of the memory foam which is encased in a further comfort layer to give extra support all bound together with a mized fibre quilt and cotton casing. Different brands on the market vary according to their 'bounce' and this is apparent in the density of foam from different suppliers. For the average home buyer the variation between brands can be marginal. That said you usually get what you pay for.
Are memory foam mattresses suitable for use with an electric blanket? (D Long)In the long term, using an electric blanket regularly can break down the memory cells of a memory foam mattress, but there is no reason not to use an electric blanket to warm the bed as long as it is not left on all night.
