Blanket boxes were originally used by the lady of the house to keep the heavy woollen bedding needed for the winter months and were often huge cumbersome wood or leather strapped pieces of furniture, often padlocked to keep unwanted hands away. This modern twist on an old classic from our sparkling white Venetian range, has all the benefits of the old blanket box, but none of the drawbacks, notably size and weight. Constructed from hardwood and MDF and with a lovely detail on the front panelling, this useful piece of furniture is not merely limited to the bedroom.
