The tables in the New Vancouver range have a very durable, hardwearing wax finish to preserve the wood and increase the longevity of the piece, giving many years of service to you, your family and your friends.

Crafted from oak, the New Vancouver range has its own unique character, with some imperfections in the wood intentionally left in to add to its rustic charm, interest and appeal. This makes each table as individual as a fingerprint.

The extending tables in this range work by sliding the two halves apart on the robust smooth action mechanism, revealing a hidden, attached 'butterfly' extension. This means the full thickness extension piece is concealed beneath the table when not required, and simply folds out from the attached custom-made metal carriage when you need the extra space. In this way, you do not need to find somewhere to carefully store the extension when it is not needed.

All of the New Vancouver tables are delivered with the legs removed for protection and also making it easy to get the table into your chosen room. All bolts and fittings are, of course, provided and it takes only a few minutes to put the legs on. The legs on these original New Vancouver tables are very sturdy - not like some of the cheap imitations we have seen, making these tables very heavy and well constructed to last generations.

Please note that due to its solid construction and the thickness of the oak used, the tables in this range are very heavy, and will require two people to unload when delivered. We can offer a two man delivery service if required.
