How does this table extend? (F Bing)The Montreal oak extending table has a 'butterfly' mechanism. It is completely self-contained, and there are no loose parts to hunt around for every time you need a longer table. The table slides apart in the middle from side to side, and the extension is hidden underneath. It simply folds out on concealed hinges, and clips securely into place.

Being pretty useless at DIY I'm a little worried about putting pieces of furniture together. (Anon)Don't worry. Most of the Montreal range comes ready assembled. The only furniture where you have to do the absolute minimum of DIY of the wardrobes and tables as supplying these fully assmebled would make the logistics of getting them into some homes very difficult.
