This bedframe is ideal for a childrens first full sized bed. It is made from solid pine which has been treated with a wax finish to give the furniture a slightly rustic feel. This single bed features a high headboard which has a gentle curve to the top moulding and a flat topped footboard.. There is some detail in the panelling which has a rectangular framed effect and the finials are not rounded as you would normally expect, but have a look of mini Inca temples in the way they have been squared off and tapered.

The pine has been deliberately marked with small holes and dents to give it an aged and rustic appearance. Please do not confuse these with real woodworm holes. This is solid pine which has been made to look as if it is reclaimed.

QI want to buy several items of Corona, can you tell me if the colour and finish is the same across the range, or if there are light and dark colours? (Neil) AThe product images may vary in colour but all items in the Corona range are the same colour. Wood is a natural product, and each piece will have very slight variations but all well within limits. If you are unsure, we can send you a sample of the wood.

QWhen you say distressed, what do you mean exactly? (Anon) AThe wood is solid new timber which has been deliberately knocked and marked and even heat treated to give it the appearance of old wood.
