This large sideboard has two side cupboards, useful for storing plates and dishes, and a series of three drawers, all adorned with stylish metal bar style handles. The beauty of the sheesham wood is really shown to great effect in this piece of Indian handmade furniture. Naturally sheesham is a very dense hardwood but the grain tends to grow in a twisted fashion and so the wood is not all of a uniform appearance, you get some pieces where the grain really does twist and turn and appear much darker in colour that other pieces.
