QWhat is sheesham wood? (Anon) ASheesham or Indian Rosewood is a twisty grained hardwood grown in India where weather conditions are warm and wet. It must be protected in transit from the damp cold European climate as the wood is prone to splitting. The wood is easy to repair with filler if necessary.
