This is a lovely oak display cabinet for showing off a collection of glass, china or decorative items, especially if the unit is lit from the inside. The display cabinet features four glazed panels in each of the two doors which are hung from securely mounted hinges. On either side a four more glazed panels which is quite unusual as most display cabinets do not feature this and have solid panels instead. The display cabinet makes the most use of its storage facilities with the single drawer at the bottom and the whole display cabinet stands on four study legs just clear off the floor.The Vancouver display cabinet is a work of quality craftmanship with dovetailed joints on the drawer and carcass, solid oak linings on the drawer base.

How does the extending table extend. Is it an automatic system? (Anon)The extending tables in this range work by sliding the two halves apart on the robust smooth mechansim, revealing a hidden 'butterfly' extension. This means the full thickness extension piece is concealed under the table when not in use and simply folds out from the attached custom-made metal carriage when you need the extra space. In this way you do not remove the leaf and do not have to store it elsewhere.
I understand that Vancouver is delivered fully assembled. Does this apply to the tables as well? (Anon)The tables are delivered with the legs removed as it makes for simpler delivery and also getting the table through doorways. All the bolts and fittings come with the table and should only take a few minutes to put on. Be aware that Vancouver is made from solid wood, so you may need someone to help you with fitting the legs and putting the table upright.
What is the measurement for the bottom of the Vancouver Petite display cabinet - from leg to leg. I notice that it should be slightly narrower than the full width of the top because of the slight overhang at either side, because my skirting boards make the cabinet just a bit too big to fit in the alcove. (Louise)The total width is 720mm from outside leg to outside leg at the base of the unit.
