This solid oak display cabinet from our new Vancouver collection is craftsman made from solid European oak which has been reclaimed. It is a rustic piece of furniture which is extremely well made with dovetailed joints and solid drawer handles. The display unit makes the most use of storage facilities with four centrally placed drawers, two open areas for books and a top section which is glazed and can be used for the display of china and glass in a relatively dust free cupboard.

How does the extending table extend. Is it an automatic system? (Anon)The extending tables in this range work by sliding the two halves apart on the robust smooth mechansim, revealing a hidden 'butterfly' extension. This means the full thickness extension piece is concealed under the table when not in use and simply folds out from the attached custom-made metal carriage when you need the extra space. In this way you do not remove the leaf and do not have to store it elsewhere.
I understand that Vancouver is delivered fully assembled. Does this apply to the tables as well? (Anon)The tables are delivered with the legs removed as it makes for simpler delivery and also getting the table through doorways. All the bolts and fittings come with the table and should only take a few minutes to put on. Be aware that Vancouver is made from solid wood, so you may need someone to help you with fitting the legs and putting the table upright.
