This chest of drawers, available from Hovells extensive selection of solid pine Corona furniture, has an unusual layout to the drawers with the alignment being 4 over 3 over 2 drawers, with each successive level of drawers being wider and deeper than the drawer above it. All the drawer fronts feature some moulding detail on the drawer front and small round metal drop handles placed centrally on the fronts of each drawer. The design has drawn on Mexican influence, with the addition of marks and small notches in the timber to give the furniture an aged and rustic appearance although the timber is not reclaimed.
